  • Mount Lafayette & Franconia Ridge Trail - 8.6 miles - 8-11 hours - Franconia Notch State Park - Loop - Hard

Biking

  • Franconia Notch Bicycle Path - 8.8 mi. Head south from the Skookumchuck trailhead for amazing views of the White Mountains. Along the way, stop by some famous Franconia Notch attractions, including the Old Man of the Mountain Historic Site, Echo Lake, and the Flume Gorge. This paved path roughly follows along I-93  and is mostly downhill.

  • Lincoln Woods Trail - 2.6 mi. Running along the east side of the Pemigewasset River, this trail can be combined with various other trails in the White Mountains. Follow this trail to sweeping mountainous views, a waterfall and all the nature New Hampshire has to offer. 

Bring your bike and we will shuttle you to the top of the trail!

Fishing

Trout

  • Our very own, private Shadow Lake is stocked with trout all summer! 

    • 3 Fish per day limit, catch a tagged fish and head to the front desk for a prize! 

    • Our chef will clean and freeze/refrigerate your catch for $2 per fish (cash)

    • Have it for dinner for $12.00 plus tax and gratuity. Chef will fry or bake your fresh catch and serve it with your choice of side and house vegetable

Remember: Anyone 16 years and older needs a license to fish in fresh or salt water in New Hampshire. For anyone under 16, a license is not required, but persons 16 years or older accompanying the child cannot assist in anyway, including baiting the hook, casting the line and netting or taking the fish off the hook.
