We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bartender to provide an exceptional guest experience by serving beverages, creating signature cocktails, and ensuring a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at the bar. The ideal candidate will be skilled in mixing drinks, knowledgeable about alcohol products, and committed to excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area, managing inventory, and processing transactions accurately.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly, take drink orders, and offer menu recommendations
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, following standard recipes and creating seasonal cocktails as necessary
Ensure proper serving of alcohol in compliance with local laws and company policies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
Monitor and restock bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies
Process guest transactions using POS systems and handle cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately
Engage with customers to create a friendly and welcoming environment
Provide suggestions for beverages, specials, or food pairings to enhance guest experience
Check identification of guests to verify age for alcohol service
Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
Ensure safety and security by complying with all health, safety, and hygiene standards
Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar area
Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations during service
Qualifications:
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role in hospitality
Knowledge of various drink recipes, spirits, wine, and beer
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests
Basic math and cash-handling skills, with experience using POS systems
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service
Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plus
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (e.g., kegs, boxes of supplies)
