We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Front Desk Representative to join our team for night audit and closing shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling check-ins, balancing daily financial reports, and ensuring the security and smooth operation of the property during late night hours. Ability to work overnight hours a major plus. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering guest inquiries and addressing concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently

  • Process check-ins, check-outs, and reservations using the hotel’s property management system

  • Answer phone calls to assist in-house guests, create and modify reservations 

  • Perform the night audit process, including reconciling daily financial transactions, balancing accounts, and generating reports for management

  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately, following established procedures

  • Ensure the lobby and front desk area are clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies

  • Monitor hotel security, reporting any unusual activity or concerns to management

  • Respond to guest calls and requests during the night, coordinating with other departments as needed

  • Settle any discrepancies in accounts or folios from the previous day

  • Prepare the front desk for the morning shift, ensuring all reports, paperwork, and tasks are completed

  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide accurate information to guests

  • Communicate effectively with the housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hotel front desk or customer service preferred, particularly in night audit or closing shifts

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic accounting and cash-handling skills

  • Proficiency in using property management systems (PMS) and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision

  • Flexible availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • Ability to stay alert and professional throughout the night
