We are seeking a skilled and efficient Line Cook to join our kitchen team during dinner service. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and standards, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring that orders are prepared accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, work well under pressure, and have a passion for delivering high-quality meals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, ingredients, and equipment before each shift

  • Work quickly and efficiently to fulfill orders, coordinating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service

  • Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maintain cost control

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and the overall kitchen during and after shifts

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations, including proper storage and handling of ingredients

  • Assist with food prep, such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating proteins

  • Assist with inventory management by informing supervisors of low stock or needed supplies

  • Handle kitchen equipment safely

  • Help with kitchen closing duties, including cleaning equipment, taking out the trash, and restocking for the next day

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role preferred

  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and safety standards

  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately

  • Ability to stand for long periods and handle heavy lifting

  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations (e.g., ServSafe certification is a plus)
